About the Calendar

A chili cook-off, jazz festival, and city-wide yard sale. Top musical performers every Sunday night at Keegan Ales. The list goes on…there’s so much happening in the city of Kingston, it’s sometimes hard to keep track, so we launched Kingston Happenings, a comprehensive listing of city events, from music performances to gallery openings to walking tours to kids’ drumming lessons.

Kingston Happenings also showcases the city’s rich cultural, recreational, historical, and arts-related resources and its local businesses, ranging from a unique haberdashery to antiques emporiums to Zagat-rated eateries. We are the one-stop shop for anyone interested in visiting, shopping, dining, or exploring this small, up-and-coming city on the Hudson. By listing your business or event, we are raising awareness of all the city has to offer.

To list an event, click on How to List Events above; to list your business, click on Business Directory. We also encourage you to purchase a display ad at a rate of $25 per month. The first ten businesses who purchase an ad will become charter advertisers, with the rate locked in for life.

If you are an artist or photographer, we invite you to submit images of your work to be considered for the juried display of artworks posted in the banner at the top of this website.
