  Matthewis Persen House Tours
The Persen House,named after its longest resident Matthewis Persen (1739-1819) is located at the corner of Crown and John Streets in uptown Kingston’s historic stockade district will be open Tuesdays through Saturdays from Memorial Day weekend (May 29) 2010 to Labor Day weekend (September 4) 2010. Saturday tours are planned to be provided by historical society and museum volunteers from throughout the county.   Kingston Farmers Market-Senior's Day
Ulster County Office of the Aging will have a booth to discuss the Healthy Ulster Seniors' Program. They will also be conducting blood pressure and glucose screenings. The Kingston Farmers' Market has more than 30 vendors offering organic and natural fare such as meats and cheeses, fruits and vegetables, breads and other baked goods, honey, fresh-cut flowers and so much more.
